Accessibility Statement
SignDeployer is committed to making its website and application usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing engineering responsibility, not a one-time project.
What we've built in
- Full keyboard operability — every control, including the sign-in dialog and the cookie-preferences dialog, can be reached and operated without a mouse, with visible focus indicators and correct focus management (focus trapping in dialogs, focus return on close, Escape to dismiss).
- "Skip to content" links, landmark regions, and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Labels or accessible names on all form fields, buttons, and interactive controls; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Live-region announcements for search progress and errors in the app, so screen reader users hear status changes.
- Sign placement results presented as a text list (ranked spots with street names and driving order) alongside the visual map, so the core output of the product does not depend on seeing the map.
- Color contrast chosen to meet WCAG AA, and animations disabled for visitors with a "reduce motion" system preference.
- Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality; no content that flashes.
Known limitations
The interactive map is rendered by a third-party engine (Mapbox GL) and is inherently visual. Everything the map communicates — the recommended spots, their ranking, and the driving order — is also provided as text in the results list, and the driving directions can be opened in your own navigation app.

Enforcement and standards
This statement applies to signdeployer.com and the SignDeployer application. We assess new features against WCAG 2.1 AA before release and periodically re-audit existing pages with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers, and automated tooling.
